Pest Product Spotlight: Ozium

Ozium is an effective product for eliminating odours caused by rodent and wildlife infestations. It is also effective for household odours caused by smoking, pets and household garbage. It is also highly effective in washrooms. This product can be used oziumwith or without a dispenser.

For use in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, factories, offices, hotels, public buildings, retail stories, theatres, boats, hampers, homes, automobiles, restaurants, health clubs and kitchens. Ozium is engineered for highly effective use in aerosol dispensers. The dispenser automatically triggers a special meter valve every 15 minutes, treating the air against odours and providing effective air freshening.

Read the directions included with the automatic dispenser for proper installation of unit and refills. Remove protective cap from the top of the can and insert the can into the dispenser with spray head beneath mechanical trigger, nozzle facing front. When used in an automatic dispenser one units to be installed for every 170 m³ of closed airspace. This means for our room of up to 9 m x 6 m x 3 m. Dispenser locations should be directed where flow will carry particles throughout the closed area. Factors such as a current temperature humidity and confirmation of treated area will govern the number of units required for effective odour control.

Bedbug proof mattress encasements allow you to keep your mattress even if you have a bed bug problem. Once the cover is installed nothing can get in or out of the mattress or box spring. We recommend leaving the covers on or at least one year because bedbugs can survive for one year between feedings.

Our mattress covers fully encase the mattress with a rust proof zipper which is completely bedbug proof. There is an internal flap which prevents bugs from crawling out of the encasement even through the zipper!

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Kablamo Bed Bug Killer is an aerosol, ready to use spray that kills Bed Bugs on contact and provides residual control.

Once your Bed Bug problem is solved, use Kablamo to kill other types of insects and pests.

 

APPLICATION TIPS

  • Shake well before each use.
  • Vacate room after treatment for at least 15 minutes and ventilate before reoccupying.
  • Spray light coating on garments, parts of bedding, including mattresses and furniture that cannot be either laundered or dry cleaned.
  • On mattresses, pay special attention to spray around seam and tufts.
  • On luggage, be sure to spray under liners and in all compartments.
  • Take bed apart, spray all joints.
  • Repeat as required.
  • Allow sprayed articles and surfaces to dry thoroughly before using or replacing bedding.
  • Do not spray pets.
  • Do not allow children or pets to contract treated areas until surface is dry.

EFFECTIVE BED BUG APPLICATION

For best results, in addition to treatment with Kablamo, consider the following:

  • Conduct a thorough inspection to locate the source of the infestation
  • Be certain to look anywhere that may offer the bed bug isolation and darkness, such as:
    • Behind wall hangings, picture and mirrors
    • Under rugs and floor coverings
    • In all nooks and crannies of nightstands
    • All parts of beds, headboards, foot boards, mattress, box springs, frame
    • Base boards, door jambs, window frames, etc.
  • Remove and wash all bedding. Allow surfaces to dry thoroughly before using or replacing bedding.
  • Reduce and remove clutter from the room
  • Dispose of infested items that can be discarded
  • Encase or bag articles that may be infested, but will not be laundered or discarded

REMEMBER: once your bed bug problem

is solved, Kablamo also killer fleas, flying and crawling insects

OTHER INSECTS THAT KABLAMO WILL HELP YOU CONTROL

  • FLEAS: Spray animal sleeping quarters and floors around area, but not furniture or carpets that people regularly contact. Remove old bedding and replace with clean bedding after treatment. DO NOT SPRAY PETS.
  • FLYING INSECTS: Flies, gnats, mosquitoes, hornets, wasps, whiteflies (indoor plants only), and small flying moths. Close all doors and windows and direct spray upward into center of room with low sweeping motion. Spray5to10seconds for average room. Direct mist into areas where insects are present. Vacate for at least 15 minutes and aerate before re-entering. Spray around light fixtures.
  • CRAWLING INSECTS: Ants, Carpet Beetles, Centipedes, Caterpillars, Cockroaches, Crickets, Fleas, Silverfish, Earwigs, Mealybugs, and Spiders. Contact as many insects as possible with the spray in addition to thorough spraying of all parts of the room suspected of harbouring these pests. Special attention should be paid to cracks, hidden surfaces under sinks, behind stoves and refrigerators, storage areas and wherever these pests are suspected of hiding. To kill ants, treat doors, around window frames, ant trails and other areas of entry. Repeat as required. For other insects listed above spray around door frames and window frames both indoors and outdoors.
  • HOUSEPLANT PESTS: Kills Ants, Aphids, Caterpillars, Leafhoppers, Spiders, Whiteflies, Mealybugs, and Spider Mites on houseplants such as Ivy, African violets, Impatiens, Geraniums and Begonias. Hold container 45 to 60 cm from plants being sprayed. Cover upper and lower surfaces of leaves. Avoid wetting foliage with spray. Use short bursts of 1secondfor spot application on new growth. Use caution on young plants and new growth.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Test the surface first. Kablamo Bed Bug Killer will not stain water safe fabrics and surfaces. To make sure a surface is water safe, spray in an inconspicuous area to test for possible staining or discoloration.

Check after spray has dried; if staining has not occurred, proceed to spray area to be treated.

Precautions: Product is water-based. Do not use this product in or on electrical equipment due to possibility of shock hazard.
